Could not read much of that story. I agree that the people who did this need an appointment with Sparky ASAP.

Banished to the basement, the 29-year-old mother with a childlike mind...My heart absolutely breaks for what she went through, physically, mentally and emotionally.

"This is heartbreaking," police Lieutenant David Hayes said. "It was almost as though they were making fun of the abuse they were administering. This woman was almost like living in a prison."Almost? Almost? Is that wacko implying that there's room for doubt? Is this what our politically correct gonadless system has turned into?

I don’t care what anyone else thinks, there is NO such thing as cruel and unusual punishment for these perps. Tie ‘em to a barn door and whip them till they die!

My God. The constant pain and suffering that poor girl endured. It’s heartbreaking and angering. Makes me want to strangle that whole group myself. She had the mind of a child. I know she’s finally at peace and free of pain in Heaven. They ALL need the death penalty....but the minors are going to walk because of their age, and be released into society where they can torture and murder some more. This...I don’t have the words. They will all be in Hell while Dixon rests with God in Heaven.

The ending of the story explained the murderer worked with the mentally disabled woman, stole her money then imprisoned and tortured her and starved her baby.
Not surprisingly, she had a previous drug problem.
Fry her and all involved.

"This woman was almost like living in a prison."She would have been SAFER living in prison.

“Dixon saw little, if any, of the money, Hayes said. For months she weathered the torment to keep a roof over her head and that of her year-old son, who weighed just 15 pounds when taken into state custody after his mom’s death.”
Tragic is hardly a word to describe any of this.
Any decent person would weep.

I dont care what anyone else thinks, there is NO such thing as cruel and unusual punishment for these perps. Tie em to a barn door and whip them till they die! Dieing would be relief.
There is a part of me that begs to be the administrator of the whip.
Another part feels Gods stare upon me, looking deep into my heart and sole. And the weight and pain overcomes my desire to administer.

Investigators put much of the blame on Michelle Riley, 35, who they said befriended Dixon but pocketed monthly Social Security checks she got because of her developmental delays... Typical parasites: No concern for the host whatsoever despite their dependence on it.
Everyone who lived in that house deserves the death penalty, imo.

I was going to make a joke about she'd also have cable tv, but I just can't. And to top it off, these vile perps will get to go to prison which is a paradise compared to what they inflicted upon that innocent.

And because this happened in Illinois not one of the perps realistically faces the death penalty.
George Ryan I hope you burn in hell and you're 'roomies' in the slam have turned you into their personal plaything.

Lieutenant David Hayes said: ... This woman was almost like living in a prison." ALMOST like a prison??? I don't know what sick way of life people in his town are used to, but the rest of us are a little more civilized. ALMOST??!!
