There is the Philippines, very corrupt government but it doesn't have enough enforcement power to do much and generally they leave Americans alone.

Europe is a write-off in most cases, though one guy here on FR says Slovakia is a great place to live at the moment.

I definitely agree with you, we have too much socialism and general all-around thuggery in our govt.

I have an African friend (Burkina Faso), who invited me to come live there. He is 100 miles from the capital (Ougadougou), in the edge of the desert. They have cows, sheep, goats, and chickens. He is setting up an oasis with water and irrigation. Though of European ancestry, it is now a cesspool, slightly ahead of us.I would not go there, though the Scottish Isles are good, but harsh.

I may end up among a few white faces in a sea of very black. The local people are wonderful, though they speak too much French! Many profess Islam, though they are nominal, at best. I have had lots of "Christian" conversations. They are simple honest people. Their only fear is the Islamofascists! Mine is the same, in figuring out where to take my grandchildren!

Life is becoming very "iffy", and the money printers are soon going to run out of ink! When something happens to DC (BIO, BOMB,???), all hell is then loose! Gold is too heavy to carry. Food is a real commodity, and the grocers shelves will quickly empty, though the food stamps won't work. The "taker class" will head south and west. RTKBA will be more important!

Come quickly, Lord Jesus!
