Touches on something interesting I saw when I went to Grenada for a couple of weeks in 1986.Even everyday Grenadians were very literate and I was wrting several for a while upon my return to the states.Their grammar and spelling were impeccable and the contrast to most students here going to ghetto schools was remarkable.
The answer lies in the fact most were educated under the old British system which was very basic and strict.No nonsense and very traditional.Again proving that culture always trumps race when it comes to such matters.
