The State Department probe of unauthorized computer access to passport records of three presidential candidates is focusing on the one remaining employee -- a contract worker with a company headed by an adviser to the presidential campaign of Sen. Barack Obama.

The State briefing today indicated that the access to Hillary’s information occurred during a training session for new employees. Apparently, while they’re being trained to use the computer system, they’re told to look up someone they know, like a family member or themselves. The clerk/trainee put Hillary’s name in. It was noticed immediately. So the check on HRC’s record looks a lot more innocent than the other two.
My first thought was that it was an Obama supporter.
This is a good way to inoculate Obama from any ‘irregularities’. Anything that will be found will now be tainted by the ‘invasion of privacy’.
I do wonder if he thinks this Obama is the clean, wellspoken fellow he once thought him to be.
BTW, I just went through a passport application to refresh my memory of what they ask for. It's a lot of stuff that could be used to acquire credit cards, Fur Shur.

This State Department passport file is the kind of thing that shouldn't be made generally available to contractors, or even employees, on anything other than a supervisor/password basis.
