Good news is greed's self-reinforcing, like nicotine addiction. The more greedy you are the more greed makes you want to be greedier.
Ultimately greed devours itself and in that regard, greed's just another vice and must be dealt with, accordingly.
May explain why the truly smart *&* greedy.
