Thanks for the insightful comments, and it is most coincidental that you should link to a bio of Beethoven since I have been thinking a lot about him lately and listening to a lot of his music. I’m no musician or expert listener, not by a long shot, but I do love his music.

Tonight I watched the film “Immortal Beloved” from a DVD. I haven’t yet looked it up online to see what any ‘experts’ say about it but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I do not think anyone knows who the letter to “Immortal Beloved” was really meant for, and the hypothesis of the film might not be the most plausible option, but still I enjoyed it all and recommend it if you haven’t yet seen it.
