I live in the Denver suburbs and don’t plan on going anywhere near downtown that week. I live in the furthest reaches of the Western Slope and don't plan on going anywhere near the Front Range that week.
(I'm sure our commie governor will somehow make sure that our taxes end up supporting this.)

I’m in the foothills about 60 miles south...have a clear view of downtown from my hot tub. It’s a little far away, but I should be able to see the flames after dark.
