That’s a great point. It’s also a point that could be rendered moot were the citizens of this country to act like citizens and not subjects. If the vast majority of voting adults were involved in the future of their country, cross-overs wouldn’t have as much effect, and we might not be faced with the 3-way disaster we’re looking at today.
You could probably go up to any person and get them to complain about gas prices, taxes, etc. But the percentage of those people who are actively involved in electing people to deal with their concerns would be a mere fraction. So long as most people are semi-comfortable, they’re perfectly fine with ignoring the direction we’re heading.
Too bad most people aren’t as involved as everyone here.
