This is the SURVEY question and multiple choice answers:

Should the legislature pass a bill allowing employees to keep a gun in their vehicle on company property?

1. Yes, it's their constitutional right to bear arms. 2. Only if the employee has a permit to carry a gun. 3. No. It's the employer’s right to set the rules on company property. 4. I see both sides and haven't decided.

75% yes so far. To the people who want to portray this as a property issue; Is it okay if an employer forbids conservative books in cars at his business? How about high fat foods, or cigarettes?

It is thier property, after all, so only they can say what may be allowed on it.

An employee can always keep his mouth shut about what is in his car.

That's all well and fine until the employer decides it time to search all the cars in the parking lot or just yours because someone you've pissed off informs on you.

Then you're fired and facing charges.

With the neighborhood I have through, I'll take my chances.

I've had a coworker shot down in cold blood just for his automobile
