Obama’s mother raised him an athiest and he apparently got little or no religious background from his stepfather during his years living in Indonesia, so when Obama chose Chicago as the launch pad for his political career (as a “community organizer”), he figured he figured being a “Christian” had to be part of the game plan.
I doubt he seriously dreamed at that time that he would someday be a legitimate contender for the Presidency so he went with a church that would work for his immediate purposes of ascending in the world of South Side Chicago politics. Had Obama been a little more far-sighted he might have chosen a nice “mixed” church somewhere, or at least a more traditional black church.

But if he was one of 100 people invited to a preachers at the WH event, then chances are slim Slick knew much about him

“Maybe he gave him some tips about ‘ridin dirty’.”

The strange thing about Rev. Wright’s hate whitey rants is that his appearance is more similar to someone from Sicily, Lebanon or Tunisia. I suspect that his DNA is more white than black. Oh, there is another thing strange about the fellow - his wearing of robes more suitable for the opera stage than behind a pulpit. /p>

I don’t buy that. Obama always played shrewdly. He has a gift for it.

September 11, 1998 -- the date of a White House gathering for religious leaders. It was also the date of the release of the Starr Report.
Wasn't *Squirt seeking 'spiritual guidance' around that same time?

"one of 100 people" Therefore the Clintons may have little to lose and can be suspected of releasing this photo themselves to keep the story hot.

But twenty? Seriously?
