Robert the Bruce was "an absolute scoundrel". "He changed sides five times and would have ended up making Scotland a vassal nation to the English if Edward I had supported his claim to the throne.
As one who actually IS related to Robert the Bruce, I’d say you’ve got your history right. More is the pity, but those are the facts. Personally I aim to do better, and so far so good.
