Clinton Facing Narrower Path to Nomination (Hillary Using Wright Controversy Behind The Scenes.)

WASHINGTON — Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton needs three breaks to wrest the Democratic presidential nomination from Senator Barack Obama in the view of her advisers.

She has to defeat Mr. Obama soundly in Pennsylvania next month to buttress her argument that she holds an advantage in big general election states. She needs to lead in the total popular vote after the primaries end in June. And Mrs. Clinton is looking for some development to shake confidence in Mr. Obama so that superdelegates, Democratic Party leaders and elected officials who are free to decide which candidate to support overturn his lead among the pledged delegates from primaries and caucuses.

Without new votes in Florida and Michigan, it will be that much more difficult for Mrs. Clinton to achieve a majority in the total popular vote in the primary season, narrow Mr. Obama’s lead among pledged delegates or build a new wave of momentum.

Mrs. Clinton’s advisers had hoped that the uproar over inflammatory remarks made by Mr. Obama’s longtime pastor that has rocked his campaign for a week might lead voters and superdelegates to question whether they really know enough about Mr. Obama to back him. Although it is still early to judge his success, the speech Mr. Obama delivered on race in Philadelphia to address the controversy was well received and praised even by some Clinton supporters.

In truth, in interviews, Mrs. Clinton’s advisers said that task was tough and growing tougher and that the critical questions were what would happen with Florida and Michigan and the possibility of developments involving Mr. Obama’s relationship with his spiritual adviser, the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr.

“Pennsylvania conservatives should switch registration by March 24th and pull the lever for Hillary.

Belonging to a racist church for 20 years and getting the New Black Panther Party endorsement is a disqualifier.”

AND GIVE HILLARY THE NOMINATION AND WATCH HER DEFEAT MCCAIN?!?

Yuck. Dont even go there.

we Republicans should prefer Obama as the nominee at this point. Sit back and watch, the Democrats are doing a fine job imploding by themselves.

I wish our side would simply butt out and let the cards fall where they may. IMHO Obama would be much easier to beat in the general with indies beginning to look twice and States that have become purple changing back to red as a result of Wright. HE will have problems in the general whereas Hillary may have enough dirt on McShame to kill his efforts. She must be defeated now!

BINGO! YOU NAILED IT!

Anyone who is voting for Hillary in upcoming primaries is voting for the sociopath co-Presidency ticket. See must be stopped cold - now.

I would recommend (a) butt out, and if not that (b) give Obama a pass ... for now.

Amen to that. I keep saying the same thing. First take down the Clinton Mob Machine. We can deal with the other socialist Saul Alinsky disciple later.

Amen and preach it and pass the plate down the pew.

Adm. Stockdale, after Stockdale's extremely poor showing in the VP debate. The opposition raised the question, "Do you want this guy next in line should something happen to a President Perot?"

AH, Mr "I'm out of ammo" ... LOL.

There were a few times in the GOP debate when McCain looked like he dropped his hearing aid.

The good news is that Obama and Hillary are both overrated. The bad news is the media lines up only liberal questions. The debates will be grating liberal lovefests, they'll make us puke.

This is one case where I hope that the Clinton personal destruction machine does it’s job well. I am absolutely disgusted and horrified that Obama still has so many supporters despite that fact that he is so closely connected with a racist hate monger.

Obama’s idiot wife said that she has never been proud of this country until now. Well, I hate to say it but with so many millions still supporting this pathetic, racist, disgraceful excuse of an American for president I can honestly say, with no exaggeration, that I have never been more ashamed of this country. And since the GOP will most likely, as usual, fail to use this issue to bury the opposition, here’s hoping that Hillary destroys the candidacy of this POS.”

Yeah, but here’s hoping she destroys his chances in the fall without replacing him on the ticket.
It will be a much uglier and worse race with her as their nominee.
