I disagree.
1) You know that the La Raza Dems will keep attaching pro-illegal amendments to everything they can, not just enforcement bills. The good guys should attach clear enforcement amendments to bills. Otherwise the bad guys will have an unfair advantage. One example is Chambiss’s “zero tolerance amendment” that passed this month by a healthy margin in the senate, despite the fact the McCain did not vote.
2) The Schuler bill puts pro-illegal congresscritters on the spot.

The Federal Immigration and Nationality Act in post #12 couldn't be more clear. Strict enforcement of this comprehensive law would cut off all means of support for illegals by preventing any business, individual or government to aid, abet or harbor illegals. Instead Congress obfuscates its responsibility with a smoke screen by passing more redundant legislation they will treat with the same disrespect and deliberate inattentiveness they do with the above law.
