I called him an idiot, among othermoonbats, and he asked the police if I could verbally abuse him like that. I had my back to the police, but apparently they answered in the positive because the idiot started shaking his head yes and said, “they can??”

Even a Flip Video Camerawould be okay...although they only can record 30 minutes or 60 minutes before becing full. With other cameras, you can have multiple tapes, DVD, or SD Cards to record hours of action.
If you can't edit video, I am sure there are plenty of FReepers who can do that for you. I can, and in the case of a big event with lots of videos, we could split up the processing tasks and post back the links to where we upload the videos, whether it be at You Tube, Google (Good for long video segments), Live Leak or Qtube.
I believe this is a way we can leverage the power of Free Republic for maximum effect. For every one of you who are able to be at events, there are many of us wishing we could do something to help the FReepers on the frontlines. And there are thousands of bloggers who would love to embed the videos of this stuff on their blogs to show the world how "nutty" the nutroots are. Someone or two or three people could set up near the action where they have access to the internet, and upload the video brought to them by the videographers, or runners, and the video files uploaded to a file sharing site. There are many who offer free accounts, and multiple accounts could be set up that would be shared by several FReepers, who would then download copies of the files, and get to work on editing the footage, adding titles that indicate a screen name for the videographer, the location, and the FReepers involved in processing the video, or whatever is decided. The left is very found of "viral project" and I think it is high time we went viral ourselves.
This is an information war we are in, and we need to generate some information ourselves that exposes the tactics and behavior of the left, and highlights the efforts of those brave few standing up to them. We can swing public opinion with a project something like what I have proposed. We also need to make the other side think twice before doing something stupid. They'll have to start asking themselves, "Will FReepers be there?" And if the answer is yes, maybe they'll go back to fingerpainting, or whatever it is they do when they aren't protesting Western Civilization.
Even when you just look at scum like that, without even talking to them- they just have loser written all over them. They just have that look of someone that hasn’t done a useful thing in their life. It is probably good that I don’t live close enough to go to these protests; I have little patience for stupidity and would probably find myself in major trouble.
