Bin Laden issuing new message soon

Personally, I am burned out on all the crap coming from our media trying to make a 15 second sound bite.

For years many of us have said that more was going on with these civil right groups than just civil rights.

Maybe the everyday citizens of the United States have had enough of this political Bull Shiite.

"CAIRO, Egypt - Al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden will be issuing a new message timed to the fifth anniversary of the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq, a militant Web site with close connections to the group said Wednesday."

And on Thursday in Iraq...nothing happened.

"The message would be bin Laden's first for 2008 and follows up an hour-long, late December audio missive in which he warned Iraq's Sunni Arabs against fighting al-Qaida in Iraq and vowed new attacks on Israel."

And the attacks against Israel didn't happen (or were too feeble to warrant any notice). For that matter, the Sunni Arabs in Iraq didn't much listen to Osama, either.

So what we've got is Osama putting emphasis on Western anniversaries (the Iraq war anniversary should have no meaning to someone already at war with the U.S.) as well as making threats against Israel, Europe (over cartoons), and Iraqi Sunnis for which he can't deliver.
