Thousands of people march to protest the war in Iraq in Hollywood on March 15, 2008. Opponents of the Iraq war plan to hold marches, sit-ins and other protests on Wednesday in cities across the United States to mark the fifth anniversary of the US-led invasion.

They represent their side very well, don’t they. Especially the woman on the left of the screen.

Isn't threatening the President of the United States against the law?

Where did I put my taser?

Honestly, looking at those pictures, there’s a lot of truly fruity people in this country. I went through the 60’s and 70’s too but never ascribed to this kind of nonsense. Bunch of aging hippies. They disgust me more today than they did back then.

Used to be. So was treason before Jane Fonda did it.

The death threat notwithstanding, these are EXACTLY the type of freaks you want representing the anti-war movement.

Check out the police. Even the police can’t believe what freaks these folks are. I think I saw the officer on the right at our counter rally last year. If so, then he’s seen it all.

GOD BLESS THE POLICE! They have a really hard job keeping their tempers under control. Although there are some of them that sympathize with the Lefties.

Most of them I think. The libs give the cops their big union paychecks and massive benefits at the tax payers expense. I’d love to see private militias and security forces replace local police departments. These protests would be quite a bit shorter and more amusing.

In the 1930s American Communists protested against the US going to war against Nazi Germany.

It’s always been Communists leading these protests.

Let them be seen as Communists and not a bunch of fruity kooks who “mean well”. They defend awful things and are against our form of government.

It never ceases to amaze me that these fools scream, shout, chant, and dress like idiots, yet still expect to be taken seriously.

Further still, I'm dismayed at the numbers of MSM who *do* take them seriously.

I might listen to someone who showed up in a suit and tie, and who spoke calmly with rational points. Screaming harpies in pink tutus wearing clown noses? Not so much.

Of course, were protesters to show up well-dressed, with cogent debating points....then they wouldn't be liberals.

Don’t these people have jobs and families? I mean, how do they fit all this baloney into real life situations? Can’t work today boss, got to be at another protest. Sorry, can’t pick you up after school today darling, too busy, but you can watch mommy on tv. And who funds their travels and providess their wacky outfits?

Great expose piece for an aspiring journalist, but probably no takers.
