I don't see Lindsay as the type who would push anyone but himself. But I’m curious as to what you think is in it for him by pushing the governor?

a lot of elected republicans in SC don’t like Sanford because he doesn’t get along with them. He vetoes all of their spending bills.
Most conservatives would like Sanford. So having him as VP is a win win.
