Nothing McCain does is going to help him. He cannot find a person conservative enough to make up for his participation in McCain Feingold, mexican amnesty, and on and on. There isn’t a person that conservative on the planet, and if there were, he would not run with McCain. Amen.

Nonetheless, scope the tagline. In the fall we will have a choice (at worst) between an FDR figure and a Jimmy Carter figure. That’s an easy pick.
