In his smooth speech, Obama did nothing more than state that instead of being a color-blind society, we should take race into account into every aspect and nook and corner of our society.

This is not progressive but hugely regressive. It is not uniting but hugely dividing.

His statement that “segregated schools are divided schools” is nothing more than an affirmation of returning to mandated “fairness” as adjudged by some bureaucratic and politicized entity - and, yes, a return to school busing as bizarre and ghastly as that will sound to all families and communities that have experienced it.

Never forget that on the 28 of June, 2007, the Supreme Court in a 5-4 vote, limited the use of race for school integration plans. Those five justices included Alito and Roberts.

When it comes to segregation, does Obama feel that the all-black colleges, who promote themselves for being "all black" are not racially prejudicial? Does Obama believe these colleges are not "divided schools?" No other colleges in America promote their institutions as being "all white" but it is acceptable for the black colleges to be openly racially dedicated.

I "Googled" "all black colleges" and "all white colleges" The "all black colleges" netted the following results. There were no colleges listed as "all white." And, even though it is known that the "all black" colleges are recruting and have recruted white students, they still list themselves as "all black" colleges. Tell me, is this not racist? Is this not segregation? Is Obama going to change this - or continue to tell America that whites should change their ways, while there is no slap on the hands of blacks who harbor and arrouse racist hatred for whites?

He also spoke out about parents upset about their kids being bused across town. Parents would be less concerned about the distance their children travelled to go to school IF the parents had the freedom (via vouchers or lower taxes) to CHOOSE where to send their kids.

It is a betrayal of the public trust to move INTO a good school district and pay the extra money for your house only to have your kids sent to another school in the interest of some kind of “fairness” to society.
