Last Friday he said that he had not heard the statements at the center of the current controversy, which were the specific statements on YouTube and the TV. Today he admitted hearing other outrageous statements, but not those specific statements.
He was deceptive on Friday, as anybody with a functional Parse-O-Meter could tell at first blush, but he did not contradict himself today.
