This problem has always been with us. My black next door neighbor is seemingly lovely, but her relatives look at me with daggers in their eyes. They, in a word, hate me because I'm white. I had to move out of Philly because of the surly, unpredictable, nature of the natives.

It is a thin veneer most blacks have that keeps their resentment of whites from being exposed.

My friends just got custody of their niece who grew up in a mostly black community (my friends and the niece are white). The racial hatred that came out of her mouth regarding whites and what she’s told us that the attitude about whites are in her former community, I think they would all be very comfortable in Wright’s church.

Heck, just see the race card the Mayor of Detroit is playing on a constant basis and this is far from the “extreme” in the black community.
