I hope you feel better over time. I won’t speak for others but this conservative American has no issue with you or white people in general. If there is an issue, I’m smart enough to see it for what it is.
As my grandmother taught me, racism reflects a defect in the perpetrator whoever they may be.

Thanks for posting Kitten1...I understand part of the problem is- none of us can..as individuals..really speak for others. I was speaking for me- my background and upbringing. When my son was growing up the “guys” hung out at our house a lot. His buds were black, hispanic and white. They spent the night, ate breakfast, lunch and dinner and were part of the family- as much as my son felt part of their’s and did the same with their families. To this day they call me “Ma” and they are still my boys. I haven’t had a chance yet to speak with them about this- but I will.
