I understand there are many ways he had to know what Wright was all about. My post delt only with what he said and didn't say when he first started replying to the firestorm of reaction. Originally, it was a very narrowly drawn reply.

Others have posted that he denied something he didn't explicitly deny, and therefore he has been nailed in an explicit lie, according to them. I don't think so, based on his narrow, careful language of denial. But did he "tell the truth, the WHOLE truth, and nothing but the truth"?

Yes, I didn’t mean to give the impression I disagreed with what you posted - I was simply pointing out one of the ways in which Obama’s careful parsing of words did not begin to address all the real issues. Personally, I’m less concerned about the racism of Obama’s church and minister than about the far-left worldview that would be catastrophic for a US President.
