I tried to listen several times. I could never understand what he was saying. He certainly did not repudiate Jerimiah.

He was for him, before he was against him..... but he’s still for him, except for a few things he’s against.

He disagreed but wouldn’t throw Wright under the bus.

ANyone who grew up in the south understands exactly what his posture is. I grew up with parents who were openly segregationists, who said the most awful things about blacks. who condoned all the racism in the south to the day they died.

But they were good parents and were good to me, supported me, fed me, educated me and were moral in all other ways.

This is what he is describing. I understand it perfectly. I would no more have thrown them under the bus but I disagreed profoundly with them.

THis is what Obama is saying,,he loves and respecrts Wright who is more than the youtubes to him.
