Here's an interesting quote by Rev Wright, from one of the magazines listed above.

"Our church has been supporting the Steve Biko Institute in Bahia for several years now and we got to visit the students and the staff of the Steve Biko Institute. Their understanding of freedom, liberation and breaking the chains that bind us mentally is a far cry from the average bourgeois Negro who lives in the suburbs of Chicago! They could not understand our having African Americans in Chicago who did not understand their struggle or participate with them in their struggle!"

Trying to shore up his base, obviously. Don’t think it will save PA for him, though... Just MHO.

Here's some quotes taken from the pdf file:

...becoming the voice for all Africans living in the Diaspora.

...articles that speak directly to the unique experience of being African in the North American Diaspora.

...articles that educate African Americans about Africans on the continent and in other parts of the African Diaspora.

From Wikipedia: The term diaspora (in Ancient Greek, διασπορά Ã‚Â– "a scattering or sowing of seeds") refers to any people or ethnic population forced or induced to leave their traditional homelands, the dispersal of such people, and the ensuing developments in their culture.

Their "Mission Statement" includes this: By highlighting journalistic issues that impact, address and speak to shared human experiences and beliefs in a racially oppressive society,...

No one is forced to stay here in AMERICA. If it's so bad and he's so oppressed, then go back to Africa and take your hate with you.

Good point...I don’t think that BHO can pull off this speech today. It’s a no win situation for him..and whatever he says, expect to see a clip on YouTube of his comments interspersed with clips of Wright’s rants.

Good idea.

Neal Boortz: We look forward to Obama's speech with much anticipation. Maybe he'll explain why he was so quick to call for an apology from Geraldine Ferraro and has yet to call for an apology from Jeremiah Wright? Of course the very fact that I've brought that up here means that I'm ... a racist!

Melodie Morgan comments about Bob Beckel’s comments in the Fox News Green Room re Wright and Hussein.

Bob Beckel was steamed.

Later, I asked him why he was so upset.

He replied ..."because Obama’s people didn’t vet him and now Hillary’s going to win.’

Catch that?

A senior Democrat strategist thinks that Obama has lost the campaign over his association with Reverend Jeremiah Wright’s militant separatist language that includes statements like “God Damn America.” ...."

Just What Did Obama Know About Wright's Past Sermons? (Plenty)

“Barack Obama either agreed with what was preached from the Trinity pulpit, or he tuned it out and stayed around pretending to for political reasons. To say he stayed for 20 years but doesn't agree with Wright's preaching is incredible denial. It'd be like a man buying White Sox season tickets for 20 years, attending the games, and saying he's not a fan.”

Obama’s supporters want us to ignore this story… just push it under the rug. While they’ll align Republicans with any obscure pastor who does or says something controversial, they’re trying to convince us that Obama’s 20-year long close relationship with Wright, including his effective endorsement of him, his church and rhetoric with a $22,500 donation in 2006 is irrelevant.

“When Obama decided against wearing an American flag pin, we may all have been a bit too quick to accept his rationale, too quick to find that issue unimportant. Now, that American flag pin has gotten a lot bigger for a lot of us, especially in light of what may have been and may still be Obama’s deeper, and, perhaps, secret, less than patriotic beliefs about America.”

“Wright says that blacks can’t be expected to sing God Bless America because of racism. Obama doesn’t salute the flag during the National Anthem. That sure strikes me as an amazing coincidence since Obama swears he never heard Wright say anything against America.”

When bad news gets out, someone always wants to blame the messenger.

Except when Newt Gingrich’s phone calls were listened in on, maybe.

"Conservative fanatics line up on the side of al-Qaeda or they line up behind George Bush. Both are terrorists! Both believe that war is the answer. Both believe in murdering innocent people."

The most deranged form of leftist "moral equivalence" around -- yes, those who insist upon fighting back against jihad terrorists who slaughtered so many on 9/11 and in other terror attacks are really just like the terrorists, you know. George Bush is a terrorist too! (sic)

This is the deranged leftist drivel in which Obambi has been steeped for the past 20+ years, this is the man he considers to be his foremost mentor in the world (not just "spiritual mentor" -- has Obambi ever talked about anyone else the way he has talked about Jermiah Wright?).

Obambi may say he wants to 'transcend' all this depraved hateful drivel now, but it's a bit late for that.

A very good point.

Fact is, Wright and those like him don’t give a damn about the sacrifices white people have made FOR THEM.

As long as they can sashay up to the cash register with $200 worth of groceries in their cart, and slide through their welfare card for free food, they’ll continue to say “God Damn America!”

Barack condemning the Reagan coalition as being race based really pissed me off. I guess the Rev. would have liked to be living under Communism.

Thank God that Barack HUSSEIN has been unmasked in time.

He is the most anti-American, dangerous person ever to run for the Presidency of the U.S.A.

Marxist to the core; Black Power advocate; acolyte of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

Hussein, we know your game!

Barack Hussein showed his true colors (pardon me!) in his speech today. he believes what Wright and Michelles have told him to believe!
