Jesus rarely if ever criticized the Romans, even though they deserved it. He reserved his harshest criticisms for the religious hypocrites in power.
This pastor Wright, if he wanted to free his black community from slavery and oppression, he would speak out against the Democratic Machine, which has been enslaving black voters for years, promising them handouts and free healthcare, in exchange for their votes. Like all members and enablers of the Democratic Machine, they put down any black individuals such as Justice Thomas and Condoleeza Rice who have become successful without the help of the machine. The Democratic Party only appreciates blacks who agree with them and blindly follow their instructions.
If this Wright fellow was practicing Christianity and Jesus’ teachings, he would know to love his enemies (or whoever he sees as his enemies) and he would not preach hate against them. He would not gloat over the actions of the terrorists on 9/11. Wright’s venom from the pulpit through the years may have caused numerous racially sparked crimes in the city of Chicago and the surrounding area.
