It was the liberals who spearheaded the civil rights movement. It was the progressives who preached freedom and equality, who challenged tradition, who demanded change and fair treatment. They were the ones who changed the flawed way Americans used to believe. And thanks to them, and the little bit of good within every one of us, racism in the traditional sense laws denying blacks equal rights as whites is dead.
And yet people like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and Jeremiah Wright Jr. (Barack Obamas pastor) still seem to be thriving on their incessant and irresponsible patterns of screaming bloody racism at every turn. Isnt it ironic that the group with the same fundamentals as the one that helped Americans see character more than color is the same one that just wont let the racism issue die? And look how much its helping Obama.

Racist rhetoric = $$$$$$$$$$$$

They do this because it makes them money and gets their names in the news. Why does Sharpton show up on Fox all the time? Who is this guy....a great politician, a great professor, a great lawyer, a great anything? No....they are just great mouths!!!! They keep the black people rattled and take their money and live like kings themselves and the blacks fall for it.
I stopped reading at that point
- Booker T. Washington
Democrats/liberals spearheaded the Jim Crow Laws.
We've known all the incendinary remarks that have gone on for years. Yet, now that their Queen Bee is about to be dethroned, look for more "expose's" on the Afro-Centric beliefs that diverge from orthodox Christianity.
Civil Rights IS an industry in this country, just ask Jessy and Al.
Balony.
It was the 1957 Civil Rights Act the Republicans passed that started integration. I remember it.
Either I really am that old, people have short memories, or they aren’t teaching anything in school.
Throughout history there have been peoples of many races and nationalities and religious beliefs, including the Jews, who were enslaved and treated cruelly by others. Why is it that the blacks seem to think they’re the only ones? And, that entitles them to what?

Yes, yes & yes ;)
Add the ACLU to that industry...... Jackson and Sharpieton will never let go of this as it would render them useless.
They are teaching something....that America is an oppressor nation. The so-called achievement gap will never be closed until black students are no longer being taught that "it's not your fault," and not only by Jesse Jackson and Al Sharptonbut also by white liberals and the DBM. I had no idea how extreme the indoctrination is in at least one black church.
The big dilemma for the Democrats is, “How do the superdelegates give the nomination to Hillary without appearing racist?” After the Pastor Wright and Geralidine Ferraro incidents, it will be difficult.
This is a lie. It was the GOP which did more for the Black man in America while the Democrats stood in the way.
The democrats were the party of Nathan Bedford Forrest, George Wallace, Lester Maddox, Orval Faubus, Theodore Bilbo, ‘Sheets” Byrd, etc.
Republican Lincoln emancipated the slaves. Republican Grant saw the 14th Amendment passed, Republican Eisenhower sent the troops to Little Rock to enforce “Brown”. Republicans under Everett Dirksen, (I miss that voice), in the Senate saw the Voting Rights Act passed over filibuster threats by Democrats Al Gore Sr. and Clinton “he was my mentor” Bill Fulbright.
A Republican president put Clarence Thomas on the SCOTUS, and another made two Blacks, one of them a woman, his Secretaries of State.
Of course the liberals and the Democrats get really REALLY angry when you point these inconvenient historical truths out to them..........
