If someone thinks that you should be dead so much that they tell you in the form of a threat on your life, does it really matter how that threat is carried out? Whether beheaded, shot or stabbed, you’re just as dead.
Who says she should be dead? Christians who avoid her book have the right to do so, just as others have the right to read it. But the comparison of Christians to Islamic fundamentalists is ridiculous.
If someone CLAIMING to be a Christian threatened someone’s life, then they are not a Christian. Name them. I will be the first to condemn them.
No one is trying to justify death threats, for crying out loud! What we’re trying to do is say that lumping ‘Christian fundamentalists’ together with ‘Islamic Fundamentalists’ is UNWARRANTED and hateful.
