I learned from Spinal Tap that the drummer is always the first to go.

I guess that rule applies mostly to hard rock / metal bands...

And somewhere above Spain, and angel was heard to say, “Ola, Brunkert.”

The brunette was hot. Actually, she still is judging from the last time I saw her on TV.

Brunkert bled to death from a throat wound which police suspect was caused after he accidentally smashed a pane of glass

Arkancide? Don't laugh! See the advertisement on the link that is displayed next to the above text.

Nothing to feel guilty about. They were a pop band of genius.

I was about 3 or 4 when they were at their mid/late ‘70s zenith. My half-Swiss cousins were huge fans and when I visited their house at the time, it was wall-to-wall ABBA music blaring full-tilt. I can’t hear a single song of theirs without being transported back 30 years ago...

Of course, when ABBA folded, they started blasting Toto... :-P

Anni-Frid Was indeed hawt! But, my heart will always belong to Agnetha!!!!

(She put the "haw" in "hawt"!!!)

Yes, I was and still am a big Fan of ABBA recordings. All the musicians I hug out with were in awe of their records not necessarily for the songs but for the SOUND.

Me, I liked 'em both and still do.

Years ago I got to sit and listen to a recording engineer who had worked with ABBA's legendary Tretow. He filled us in (it was a workshop for recording) how Tretow had made their vocals literally JUMP off of the record. Very ingenious that Tretow chap!

I buy very few musical CDs. Of those even fewer vocals.
ABBA is one. Love their music.
