Pelosi's stance on Democratic convention delegates boosts Obama

WASHINGTON (AP) - House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is taking a stand on Democratic Party superdelegates that effectively gives a boost to Barack Obama.

Without mentioning Obama or Hillary Clinton by name, Pelosi says it would be damaging to the party for its leaders to buck the will of convention delegates picked in primaries and caucuses.

Pelosi's remarks seem to suggest she's prepared to cast her ballot at the Democratic convention in favor of the candidate who emerges from the primary season with the most pledged delegates.

Barring a string of landslide victories by the former first lady in the remaining states, Obama will end the primary season with a delegate lead, but short of the 2,025 needed to win the nomination.

Pelosi's comments, taped for ABC's "This Week," could influence other House Democrats who are neutral in the presidential race and will attend the convention as superdelegates.

Pelosi has done all she can to ruin the Democrats chances for maintaining the house in 2008 and now she want’s to do all she can to help out Hillary, or maybe she is sincere and wants to help out Obama, but if I were him I’d tell her to back off.

Her endorsement of Obama is bad news for him. If she’s for him, then the more sensible and less left wing Super Delegates will endorse Hillary. Let’s face it, the leftwing clap trap that Obama and Pelosi spew may be good for that base Dem vote, but that only adds up to 30 or 40% of the Rat party and practically 0% for the rest of the country.

The remaining Rats are leftwing to moderate, not lunatic left like Pelosi and Reid.

Either way you slice it, these Democrat fools are headed like lemmings for the cliff. LOL
