Hmmm.
Manson is over 60 years old. The trial will last 2-5 years. The appeals will go another 5-10 years. Even if convicted, he will not be put to death until he is over 80 years old.
Chances are he will die of old age.

Chances are he will die of old age. I think that happens in roughly half of the cases languishing on death row.

Right, he would probably die of old age. And lets not forget what kind of circus his other trial was. I think he would like nothing more than to have the cameras on him again.

Even if convicted, he [Charlie Manson] will not be put to death until he is over 80 years old. Then the nasty old fart can savour a last meal of pureed steak, mashed potatoes, strained peas, decafe coffee and prune whip before being wheeled into the death chamber.

and he can die in prison of old age and then burn in hell. Sounds just fine with me. Let him rot in prison. Death is too good for him.

Actually, he's 73 - he was born in 1934.
