In context or even OUT of context. Steve King nailed it! Hope he runs for US Senate!

Calls should be pouring into the editor’s office in support of King. Anybody got the number to this rag.

I sure hope so. He would be the perfect solution to liberal Senator Tom Harkin. King is a true-blue conservative and he is forcing the MSM to focus on Obama who would not have won Iowa had he been properly covered during the early primaries. Steven King is a truth teller and every American should know him.

Barack Obama didn't have any choice in what his middle name would be or what his father's religion would be. "Hussein" is an inconvenient legacy from his Muslim past. He should change it into a name starting with the same letter that more accurately conveys what he is now, as he campaigns as the great healer and uniter:

Humbug.

Not True.

Sorry, it's true: "His middle name does matter," King said. "It matters because they read a meaning into that."

So if a Republican makes a truthful statement and the Dims avoid the issue by acting 'offended', that makes the Republican a stupid putz? Well, if it does, then we need a lot more 'stupid putzes' out there.

Feh. The Democrats want more "stupid putzes" like King, so that they don't have to focus on the real issues. Tell me: would you prefer to piss and moan about a guy's middle name, or would you rather confront him on real issues?

But I would argue that any man who fears the use of his own name has a real problem.

And every hour you spend piddling about his middle name, is an hour that makes you look stupid, him unjustly put-upon, and his serious shortcomings miraculously disappear.

"Come into my web," said the spider to the fly....

But hey -- it worked in 2nd grade, why not now?

The main point King was, and is, making is the reaction of the Middle East to the election of Obama and what it means over there.

A lot of people want to diminish the importance of what King says by diverting attention to the middle name issue. Evidently you are in that camp.

Amazing the audacity of this guy trying to interfere with local Iowa Politics. Thanks, Lancey, for helping his strategy backfire. Thought he was a local UNI lib.

Rep. Steve King rocks!

One of the few “good ones”

He attended a Free Republic event, was one of the speakers.

They are scared of him, naturally.

He's an American Patriot.

It's very “progressive” to hate such people.

What’s this, some letter to the editor from some RAT? Screw him. King is one of the good guys, especially on gun rights. No wonder the commies hate him.

He based it on Obama's middle name. The quote is clear. King should think before opening his mouth. He failed to do so, and thus has once again obscured the real reasons for being opposed to Obama.

I saw him interviewed on BOR, not a friendly interview.

Osama’s middle name is only one part of the reason that if Obamba is elected President there will be more dancing in the streets in the Middle East than after 9-11. The biggest part is that they see Obama as ‘one of their own’.

There are many apologists for Islam on FR, and I don’t know if you are among them, but your deliberate misrepresentation of what King said suggests you are.

Screw that rag [and] the people that run it

It's a letter to the editor. Chances are, this newspaper prints every letter it receives, after validating authorship. Mine does.

I stand corrected, and shall amend the statement.

Screw Ben Soriano, all that think like him, and Obama.
