Dumping Pastors to Get Elected – Theology America Does Not Understand
Cross Action News ^ | 3-16-08 | Rev. Michael Bresciani

In today’s climate of “religious tolerance” it is more important for a person to allow all and any religious beliefs as some kind of area where everyone can be right. It is not politically correct to suggest anyone could actually be mistaken or mislead or outright deceived. Have we already forgotten Jim Jones or the Japanese cult that attacked the subways with poison? No, not all religions are OK. Even sincerity is a lousy substitute for the truth as in the genuine and sincere concern of the Doctor who prescribes the wrong medicines that result in someone’s death. Sincere; yes, but wouldn’t accurate (the truth) be a better deal?

Sound Biblical doctrine would put Rev. Parsley up for a commendation for his views. Those with only an iota of common sense and no theology at all are also blasting homosexuals, the entertainment industry, abortionists and civil libertarians. This is sound Biblical doctrine not the ranting of a rogue fundamentalist pastor from a wimpy cultural church in the burbs. Christian conservatives would have to break with Parsley as well as many Catholics, Charismatics, Evangelicals, Pentecostals and a swarm of independent church goers who hold these Biblically derived beliefs. Don’t hold your breath waiting for that.

Their strategy of trying to paint McCain's pastor in the same - 'scuse the adverb - "color", as "O"'s only points out the wide chasm between one who actually sticks to the Gospel and one who is hate ridden. (BTW, shy is no one asking "O" why Bullfrog claims: "Jesus was a BLACK man!")

I don't think God takes kindly to His Name and His Son's name being used as Bullfrog and his followers do.

"O" has been busy for months trying to convince us of what a good and faithful "Christian" he is = now he's claiming 20 years of ignorance of what the church and his close friend and mentor, Bullfrog, espouses.

Catch 22. If he knew, (how could he not) that is damning.

If we are to believe he didn't = equally damning. Can we afford to have a CIC who was hoodwinked for 20 years? How could we trust his judgment in dealing with threats to our safety? Would it take him 20 years and others pointing out the obvious danger before he'd take action - and even then, a very wobbly one?

If this a gamble we can take?

If Mccain throws Parsley under the bus, he will show himself to be a bigger political coward than I believe he is already.

Good Read.

McCain should hold on to Parsley, who seems to be a smart man & straight talker.

Obama, on the other hand, has fallen into the old trap of acknowledging his friends, supporters, & mentors; while at the same time having to deny them. He's trying to have it both ways.

He's dead meat politically!

Great article. You almost sound like a Jehovahs Witness, you know, the people who are trounced on regularly. And what would Mitt say about Mr. Smith who is just as wrong as Mohamed but not so violent. The holy scriptures are always used when convienient by the big churches, the Harlot, and always ignored or explained away when not so convienient. Lets face it they think they will die and go live in heaven. What the heck for? To just kinda float around. Crap, if your going to believe that you may as well toss a few virgins in. And what about hell? Hell, Hades, Gehenna all references to the literal dumps they had outside of cities thousands of years ago. Giant fire pits to burn all the garbage because fire completley consumes and forever rids the earth of whatever it burns up. How do these people stretch it to get followers to believe that a loving God would torture someone for eternity? The reality is that race religion and all the other noise is just there to keep the masses busy thinking about anything but what the power hungry lawyers who run the world are really doing. Like a giant three card monty game. You can’t win, so don’t play.

“(BTW, shy is no one asking “O” why Bullfrog claims: “Jesus was a BLACK man!”)”

I did a bit of research on Black Liberation Theology yesterday (It’s easy, just google that.) You’ll find that Jeremiah is a much ‘respected; and often quoted leader in that field.

One of the basic premises of BLT is class distinction. By definition, a ‘black’ person is an oppressed person and a ‘white’ person is an oppressor. The converse is that all oppressed people are black and all oppressors are white. The difinition has nothing to do with skin color and only to do with whether one is a member of the ruling classes or not. Therefore, since Jesus was not an oppressor, he was black.

You see this logic play out in Jeremiah’s videos. For example, Bill and Hillary, as members of the ruling class cannot be black and must be white oppressors.

Since our society is ‘oppressive’, then any one who is successful in that society must be white despite their actual skin color.

Of course, the exception is that any one who is part of the struggle to ‘free people from oppression’ is also black. Therefore, Obama is not white despite his being a senator.

and therefore, Bullfrog is still 'black' even tho' he lives in a $800,000+ house and drives a Porsche...

Total Chaos - House built on sand...hopefully, the tide is coming in on them

I believe Parsley is a shameful promoter using God’s name to make money. But Wright and Farrakhan are in whole ‘nuther league, a dangerous racist group.

What these slippery definitions really amount to is this:
-If you agree with me, then you’re a good guy, ie, ‘black’.
-If you disagree with me, then you’re an evil filthy oppressor, ie, ‘white’.

These definitions are why Jeremiah Wright and his version of ‘black liberation theology’ are political dynamite. By adopting Wright as his spiritual mentor, Obama has just called anyone who disagrees with him a ‘filthy white oppressor’. Not good for one who is supposed to transend racial politics.

Now, just imagine the clamor if any one were to claim that being ‘white’ was superior.

“If Mccain throws Parsley under the bus, he will show himself to be a bigger political coward than I believe he is already.”

Or at least a consistent one.

Obama’s “Rev” helped me. Now I understand why blacks cheered when O.J. walked after killing his white wife.

The more I read about these people (Wright, the Obama’s), the more I see they actually came from a privileged class of people bent on stirring the lower classes into a frenzy. Wright hails from a family with two PHd parents, grandparents and uncles. Wright’s mentor, Obama’s mentor by proxy, Dr. Proctor had communist leanings that Wright expanded upon. In the following preview given me by another freeper, Wright discusses the beginnings of his hatred of whites, and his insistence that capitalism is slave based and a racist enterprise.
His positions so long ago that appear to be evolving into more radical positions make it hard to fathom that Obama does not agree with or at the very least wink with approval at these beliefs.

Every now and again I hope against hope that Mccain will show me SOMETHING in the face of the dems beating each other up. But all he knows how to do is apologize when the base tries to get behind him. UGHHHHHHHHHHH
