I'm currently working on a novel (the working title is The Guardians) about an Army Special Operations unit that is tasked with dealing with those who finance, support, and recruit for Al-Qaeda. To help keep the unit a secret, it is called The Grand Old Army of the Republic and all of the field and support teams are named after Civil War generals (both North and South).
Unfortunately, the unit's secret is revealed to the world by an unscrupulous lefty Senator and the team I will be concentrating on has to make their way out of Iran without being caught.
