The parent church, the United Church of Christ, is now being investigated by the Internal Revenue Service for a speech Obama gave at a church convention attended by 10,000 people.

I am no fan of Obama, or his church, or his hate-mongering preacher, but someone needs to yank the IRS leash HARD and do it NOW. They start going after churches and I start thinking "Gestapo"

Sorry, but if you want the “tax free” status you agree to live by certain rules. If they violate them they should be investigated.

Reverend Jesse Jackson
Reverend Al Sharpton

These too need to be looked into by the IRS.
Don't think Gestapo, think illegal gamers.

No one forces a church, or any other “nonprofit” to voluntarily apply for tax-exempt status, with the concomitant voluntary quid pro quo of limiting their political advocacy speech.Churches, Red Cross, March of Dimes: all the same, when it comes to politics & taxes.

Nobody says they can't take the NRA route, and play on the other court.
