How could he not know? This racist maniac masquerading as a ‘Preacher’ obviously cannot keep his vile mouth shut and Obama either directly witnessed this hate or was told long ago about it. For him to claim he did not know is either a lie (Likely) or an astonishing lack of awareness. Either of these things is not an acceptable trait in any POTUS.

One other possibility: Obama witnessed this hate speech but didn't think anything about it because it was the same stuff he heard day after day in his life routine. When it's part of your daily life, red flags are not going to go up when you hear it from the pulpit.
