Given the fact that most Rats agree with every word this “preacher” says, and that an issue like this one raised in March is sure to be Long Gone in September, why did Obama even bother with his inane explanation, that’s my question.

If this matter were going to have any meaningful impact between now and the Convention, Rodham would be out there beating her drum now. And the Rats can just find all kinds of “associations” McCain has or had to neutralize the Rev. Wright issue later on.

What’s to apologize for, anyway? Certainly Michelle Obama has made it clear the Obamnas hate America and blame America for just about everything they can.

The apology just alienates their base at a time when they are still consolidating it. Plus, it opens up all the problems that go with the “defense of the lie” syndrome. Obama’s response to his pastor/mentors anti-American beliefs and his venomous race-hate is not an explanation of why he was attracted to this profane preacher and why he gives him credit for his inspiration. However, abetted by the New York Times, Washington Post, the networks of CBS, NBC, ABC, NPR, and other liberal Democrat shills he will get a pass as usual.
