They said a police officer at the hotel (omni?) saw a funnel cloud.
Thank you for that report. funnel cloud = tornado - at least here in NC when a funnel cloud on the ground is reported - esp by LEO - that means “tornado confirmed”.
The Omni Hotel is right next to CNN in the area of the storm.
