Ok- I understand now.

Yes, I think they most likely do come away from those sermons with a view close or similar to Rev Wright...which is unsettling to me.

They not only come away with that view, but they entered the church with that view. This preacher is by no means alone among blacks in espousing those virulently racist views. They are widely held among American blacks (if not others elsewhere), if seldom uttered as openly and starkly as does Jeremiah Wright.

I think that audience chose this dangerous moron because of their previous beliefs. Their children are being indoctrinated. That includes Barry's kids.
