No, I confess I know nothing about the Copts, except for the fact that their culture has existed in an "Islamic" country for the past 1300 years or so. Your implication that Islam systematically annihalates any people that don't submit to Allah appears to be refuted by the mere existence of minority faiths in Islamic regions.

I know a Coptic businessman who is fighting extradition to Egypt because he was beaten and extorted by neighborhood Muslims. The beating included being hung from the ceiling by his wrists. Islam doesn't always "annihalate" its enemies. Most of the time it just taxes them to death as dhimmis. My friend did an uncharacteristic thing for Coptics in Egypt. He asked for justice. Non-Muslims don't get justice under Islamic courts.

Minority groups in every culture have extreme disadvantages. Even in the most enlightened western democracies minority rights are often ignored and abused. We need not look very far to recognize that reality.

You take this too far. 1930's Germany was a western nation. Few Christians in Muslim countries would willingly trade places with the Jews in Nazi Germany. The Nazis were an extreme, but so are the Islamofascists. The non-Nazi Christians in Germany did not remove Hitler without outside help.

I'm merely stating the valid generalization that minorities in every culture are going to be discriminated against, sometimes in the most extreme way. Surely you are familiar with the image of "strange fruit"?

Your advocating the summary deportation of a minority group would seem to validate this observation. Are you a Muslim?
