Right, and do it all within the next 90 days instead of a trial a year and a half from now when their horrible crime has been mostly forgotten by everyone except the murdered girl's family and friends, and maybe execution 20 years from now if ever. Also, build a gallows for them on the local courthouse lawn and show the hanging on national TV.
There was a very good reason why hangings were once done in the public square, it was done as an example to others who might be contemplating a similar crime. The death penalty has little or no deterrent affect on would-be criminals if it's delayed until a generation after the crime and then carried out in virtual secrecy far away from where the crime was committed.

Most of us are so used to the IN Justice Systems that we have given up long ago of hoping to improve things...
