I wonder if members of the American military have the right of self-defense. Well, yeah. Though I do wonder what hay might be made of the imagery of uniformed military defending themselves righteously against an assault by dirty, peaceful civilians. You know, the same comparisons made when they defend against attacks by "civilians" overseas?
Kneejerk reaction would be screams of "Kent State." I swear, the boldness of the anti-America crowd knows no bounds. No conscience, not even a sense of irony. And the stuff keeps feeding on itself and growing.
Better that LEOs or failing that patriotic civilians and un-uniformed servicemen form a phalanx to prevent the Marines from having to break wispy little hippy necks. They protect us over there, and we should protect them over here. That's where my intuition takes me, anyway.
