I can remember during the Vietnam war there was a group of construction workers in one city that surrported the war. They would show up in Hard Hats with axe handles to confront these characters. Wonder where they are now?

They are in towns all over America, though they don’t carry axe handles anymore. We call them Freepers.

I passed my fifth anniversary as a street freeper last October, and on 15 Feb I passed my fifth anniversary staanding up for the troops here in Freeport.
