I thought she had already disavowed any desire to be Vice President.

She will have to correct the spelling of her first name, before anything else.

>> I thought she had already disavowed any desire to be Vice President.

The way she is running State — more precisely, the way they are running HER — she is not POTUS material. She should not be VP.

If she were on the ticket, it would kill it.

She is too anti-Israel for me, and it would push me away from supporting McCain for sure.

Next time, toss a barf alert, I had just eaten when I read that, now my stomach is all queasy from the twisted logic and repeated attacks.

As for the suggestion; it is made simply based upon the color of Mrs. Rice's skin, not done for her abilities, nor for her positions, but simply because it fits within the liberal ‘what's right’ category. It is typical pandering - look, see, those racist Republicans didn't nominate a black for VP, but we had many running for president, we're better than they are.

Of course, unmentioned will be Dr, Alan Keyes’ name, as he has ‘unacceptable positions.’ Plus the big words he uses makes writers get cramps when copying the campaign press release.

I wonder when many will finally get tired of the shuffling of the ‘race card’ deck the liberals do over and over again? Let's ask Howard Dean, or ‘our nation's first black president’, Bill Clinton.

I also wonder what it would feel like to actually see Democrats walking into a polling booth and voting for an agenda they believe in, rather than some packaged mumbo-jumbo about ‘what's right.’

Rice’s speech at the 2000 Republican National Convention was one of the mose stirring I’d heard in a long time. She spoke about how her father had tried to join the demoncrat party in the Southern state they lived in only to be rejected, they were accepted by the Republicans and etc. She is highly educated, but sadly has been another in a long line of disappointments among Bush appointees. The State Department is no walk in the park, but her appeasement policies toward the M.E. trash is unacceptable. I always thought her high water mark was National Security Advisor. Maybe, in fairness to her, she hasn’t had the backing of the President either. Not VP material.

Michael Steele or JC Watts would be nuch better choices, in my opinion, if we “need” to run a black for VP.

It would be politically brilliant, if a litle transparent, especially if the Hildabeast steals the election from Obamahdinejad.

Might siphon off some of the politically disenchanted from the Dims.

We’ll disavow her. After becoming Sec of State, her stock dropped like an anvil thrown off the Sears Tower.

If McCain picks her he is finished.

Anybody connected with the Alfred E. Newman clone in Washington is tainted.

Given her performance at State, I'd say you were right.

She has never run for nor won an elected office. She has no experience “representing” a constituency, which really ought to be a prerequisite for the highest elected-office in the country.

Successfully representing a constituency means that you can be trusted to do what you say you'll do to earn the votes of the people.

In this regard, she has less experience than Obama, and that is saying a lot.

CONDI WOULD MAKE FOR A DREAM TICKET!

But of course, the dream I had last night was that I walked into one of my college history classes and found that they were taking the final exam, and I hadn't studied.

...And I was only wearing my underwear.

(So much for dreams.)

Regardless the choice of VP, the liberal stench emanating from the presumptive, presidential nominee on the Republican ticket will not go away.

Republicans, it's still the primary season. You still have over 5 months to select a conservative presidential candidate.

“Condiment (Secretary of State Condaleeza Rice for VP?)”

Perhaps we could have a VP that is NOT pro-Palistinian?
