Making calls from DA’s office is about as brazen as it gets.

You would have thought that somebody like that would have had the sense to invest in a prepaid cell phone, anonymously purchased with cash, for any phone calls that he wanted truly private

It amazes me that the U.S. still allows anonymous pre-paid cell phones. You have to register to activate any cell phone account here in Canada. It’s an obvious security hole — not to mention a boon to organized crime. Why is this?

Hmmm pretty close to Kansas Defrocked Attorney General Paul Morrison. He loved his staff too much. But in the end he did the right thing and resigned. Come on Eliot step aside now and save New York further embarassment.
