Sounds like someone's trying to cook the numbers to push an agenda.
I'm curious (though not curious enough to slosh through the data, if it can be found) to find out what part of that 1 in 4 transmitted those diseases through kissing.
Sounds too phony for me -- like the 1 in 4 statistic for rapes on college campuses. Serious problem, yes, but the problem gets clouded up by the need to push an agenda.
