Wouldn’t it be funny if George Fox used Eliot Spitzer as an alias in his liaisons? ROTFL.

Fox is a high-powered hedge-fund manager, and political donor

That description doesn't necessarily indicate "good name."

Lets read this a little more closely.

George Fox is a big time donor to Spitz and a good friend.

Spitz uses his name to buy hotel rooms and Hookers.

Does Fox know that Spitz was doing this, and in fact was it a way to hide illegal campaign donations and not have records tied to Spitz?

Was George Fox in fact the one paying off Spitz in expensive gooch?

My cynical knee-jerk reaction is that they were both involved with call-girls, Spitzer (since he’s already sunk) is covering for Fox.

Didn’t Richard give the Beaver’s name to the cop when he was questioned about breaking windows of a vacant house?

Everything would have be * ok * if Spitzer hadn't insisted on a discount for the handcuffs and the livestock...

Let this be a lesson to all sleezoids... do not nickle and dime a high-priced hooker!!!

Soros angle!

RYE, N.Y. (HedgeWorld.com)—The recently formed Titan Advisors group, which includes two émigrés from Soros Fund Management, is expected to launch its first fund of funds in early May with about $30 million under management. “We expect the fund to hit about $100 million under management by the end of the year,” said Thomas Holliday, Titan principal, who had previously helped research outside managers for Soros Fund Management.

The team behind Titan also includes Douglas Reid, who departed Soros only three weeks ago after a five-year run as director of banking and finance for the Quantum Fund. The two ex-Soros pros will work alongside George Fox, who is rolling his established $650 million investment management business into Titan Advisors. Mr. Fox will serve as president of the newly formed firm.

I remember that when sportscaster, Marv Albert, who had a thing for forced sex, cross dressing, and threesomes was arrested for sexually assaulting some hotel employee, he had been using his brothers name, Steve Albert, as his alias when getting the hotel rooms, booking prostitutes, etc.....
I’m sure his brother was thrilled to hear that.

offical statement:

http://www.wnbc.com/politics/15564094/detail.html

The following is a statement from a spokesman for George Fox, whose name Spitzer is said to have used as an alias:

Published reports indicate that Governor Eliot Spitzer allegedly used the name “George Fox” as an alias in the activity currently under investigation. Mr. Fox has known Governor Spitzer for more than 20 years and has been a supporter during the Governor’s various political campaigns.

The news that his name may have been used as an alias comes as a great surprise and disappointment. Mr. Fox only became aware of Mr. Spitzer’s alleged activity when informed of it Monday morning by the media. There is absolutely no connection between Mr. Fox and the Governor’s alleged activity beyond the unauthorized use of his name.

Mr. Fox considers Governor Spitzer a close friend and is distressed by the news that has emerged.
