This is pointless. Let the Democrats call for his resignation. They’re playing right into Spitzer’s hand.

I agree. If we have learned anything, we should have learned that unless Democrat voters who put the guy in office want him out, nothing will happen. Republicans will just get lied about until the whole thing blows up in their faces. It shouldn't be that way, but that is the way it is. New York is liberal. If they want a law-breaking governor and their procedures allow it, I'm inclined to not push this one. Give them rope and let them hang themselves. Then when time comes to oppose them in front of the public, remind voters how the Democrat didn't think the laws applied to him.

In the meantime prosecute him like any other citizen. You would think the embarassment of that would cause the Democrats to call for his resignation. But then many things that should embarass liberals, don't.

In my state I don't think any politician could survive this. There wouldn't even be a question about it. But we are talking about New York. He will have powerful media forces supporting him, especially if they think Republicans are on the attack. So just don't attack. See if they clean up their own mess for a change.

WRONG! If Repbulcians don’t say anything this whole thing is forgotten in a week, including on “ultra-conservative” FOX.

What’s that old saying about when ‘good men do nothing’..?
