I wonder do the college students know this. Is this info repeated around the campus and dorms. Did Eve and other students know before they hop in their big SUVs at 2:00am to run errands all about the rob/kill/carjack?
I seriously doubt it. These college kids are from other areas, and the "politically correct" universities, local law enforcement, politicians and news media do not want to mention such things as race these days. This is a fact of life in North Carolina.
I live in Chapel Hill. The part of town this girl lived in is considered to be safe.
My son’s high school friends live all around there (Franklin Street area, for those of you who know Chapel Hill), and when he’s home from college he visits them for get-togethers that last till one or two; I promise you up until this incident, we wouldn’t have thought twice about it, other than just a general “be careful”. Everyone is really shocked about this incident.
