all who participate in the IVAW event submit to identification verification and that their claims are specific including times, dates, places, units involved, leadership and witnesses. In addition, anyone claiming to have participated in or witnessed an atrocity without attempting to halt it or report it will be referred to the appropriate civilian and military authorities as participants in or accessories to war crimes. EXCELLENT!
-- Here's a bit more on that topic.

Thanks! Good background. I'm just glad that we won't see a replay of prior years. You folks are doin' great work!
I did snicker at this carefully worded sentence:
Members of IVAW relying on the National Lawyers' Guild for legal protection should remember that the NLG is an ideological group that will likely trade a presumed propaganda victory for time in jail for the party they represent.
PS--I got your book--I just haven't had a chance to crack it open yet. :-)

May we support these pro-troop groups financially as with words. The better their funding, the more public messages they can run.
We can, though, never come close to repaying them for the inestimable service they have given - and are giving - to this nation and to every one of us.

Hey--any idea if Joe Bangert is related to Jim Bangert? It's such an unusual name that I couldn't help but notice it when I came across a youtube video the other day. Jim Bangert was reported to be the guy sitting in the F-4 that released the Zuni missile that shot through McCain's A-4 fuel tank and started the fire on the Forrestal back in 1967.

The least we can do is protect their backs. This simple improvement now vs. the 70's makes all the difference in the world, doesn't it! Great post! I'll be there in spirit (while watching here from FL w/kids/gkids)

Hosted by Iraq Veterans Against the War, the ANSWER coalition, CODE PINK, MOVEON.ORG, and associated organizationsThanks for the ping. Everything they have done this time to try to reenact Vietnam has failed and backfired. Each of their demonstrations has grown smaller than the one before; and by the time they got to Berkeley, they were widely condemned, even by lefties.
This, too, will fail and backfire.
Hooo-ahh!!
